Alumno is pleased to confirm it has submitted a planning application for the next important stage in the redevelopment of Park Hill in partnership with Urban Splash.

David Campbell, Managing Director of Alumno Developments said:

“Alumno are delighted to have submitted a planning application for the third phase of regeneration at the Park Hill Estate. Park Hill has played an important role in Sheffield’s past, and is an amazing historical structure. We want to respect this and make a positive contribution to the Estate’s future by making new investment, bringing additional life and vibrancy to the local community.

I am particularly grateful for the feedback we have received to date. Our plans for high-quality student housing will restore and revitalise the existing buildings, celebrate original architecture and add to the mix of people and activities at Park Hill. I believe students can play a positive role in the local community and are looking forward to exploring how we can work together.”

Alumno Hosts Sheffield Hallam University Real Estate Students at Park Hill

Alumno recently hosted ten students and a course leader, from Sheffield Hallam University’s Real Estate undergraduate course on 18 April. We find sessions like these are an important part of the work we do in the communities where we deliver projects and ensuring our proposals align with their occupant aspirations and needs.

This was a fantastic and informative session which aims to encourage young people to consider working in real estate and development, by talking through our proposals for Park Hill. We also asked students about their views on the proposals and their feedback will directly inform how the proposals are developed in more detail in the next stage.

The meeting was held at Park Hill’s fantastic new café South Street Kitchen on South Street.

Alumno Undertakes Consultation on Park Hill Proposals 8 February 2018

On Thursday 8 February 2018, Alumno, in partnership with Urban Splash, presented its proposals forming the third phase of the regeneration at Phark Hill Sheffield. The proposals comprise a student housing-led scheme with ancillary commercial space with the potential for new retail, café/bar, gym or gym. We were pleased with the local turnout, feedback received and to be able to engage directly with local residents and stakeholders with whom we want to work closely.
